This was an interesting entrance into a realm that has long been populated by the likes of Rick Rriordan, Eyes of the Eternal was an interesting read with a different twist on the typical demigod character. Although the book occasionally suffers from stagnant character interaction it wasn't enough to make me walk away from the book. The characters are interesting but could stand to be fleshed out more. The world that has been created is a fresh take on the whole mythology thing and I really found myself enjoying it. I am curious as to see what exactly happens when it comes to the relationship between Quinn (the main character) and Jared. Personally, I'm hoping for something romantic but I'm pretty sure that's not the case. It was a pretty good read that is worth the price.Product details

I loved it.
I really loved this book and the development amongst the characters as well as the fantasy and mythology mash up. It was wonderful to read and I really like the backstory between Quinn and Jared really can't wait for the next book!!
I really liked the premise and the originality of this book. It's not quite like anything I've read before so it was a breath of fresh air. The book was a little slow to start for me but I appreciate the fact that the storyline didn't get taken over by insta-love or a ton of unnecessary flashbacks. Can't wait to read the next one.
This was a great story! Unfortunately, the writing needs a lot of revision. There are a lot of random points-of-view changes. In some places it was really hard to determine who the narrator was. It needs some work on the grammar, too. I will definitely read the next book in this series, but I hope that it will be edited better than this one. If this one gets revised, I will definitely read it again.
